second WOMAN ACCUSES Dan Price OF RAPE

“Dan comes across as whatever dream man and apostle-of-the-people that you would like him to be, but his true colors come out later.”

There are a lot of days where she feels a considerable amount of shame for having dated him, for falling for his big smile, empty words and “love-bombing.” Despite the despair, she decided to share her story after reading a recent Hundred Eighty Degrees article about another woman whom Gravity Payments CEO Dan Price allegedly raped in Palm Springs, California, earlier this year.

Like the other alleged survivors, she fears Price. Also like the others, she said that she fears him because he made it clear that she should.

"I don't know why anyone would want to fuck with me,” Price allegedly said to her. “It never works out well for them."

Due to this trauma, survivor number three agreed to speak on the condition of anonymity. For the sake of this article, she is known as Jane Doe Three (JDT).

According to her account, as it pertains to Washington state sexual assault laws, Price — who is globally known for establishing a $70K minimum wage at his Seattle-based credit card processing company — apparently raped JDT on more than one occasion.

“I'm a pretty direct and confident woman, and by the end, I felt like I was losing my mind. I doubted every move I made and every word I spoke. I now have a very thorough understanding of what gaslighting looks like.”

Her play-by-play eerily echoes that of two other women — one whom Price allegedly raped in April at the Palm Springs Ace Hotel and Price’s ex-wife Kristie Colón who alleged that Price brutally beat her for years.

All three women — college graduates, successful professionals, worldly — described how adept Price was at leveraging vulnerabilities to steadily strip away self-worth.

Price publicly victim-blamed Colón five years ago when she alluded to his abuse. He said her claims were reckless, baseless and completely false. In other words, he said that Colón repeatedly lied.

The fact is, Colón moved to the opposite corner of the country to get away from Price. She never reported him. She never demanded anything from him. She simply wanted Price to stay away — far, far away.

The other women want the same. They said Price convinced them they were not as smart or worthy as they thought they were — a cycle of constantly disorienting torment.

Others have described how Price rages when ignored or disregarded.

Dan Price has had a long-term love affair with selling Dan Price. He raves about how his beneficence is responsible for a company baby boom or how his daily dose of fluffy diatribes railing against the billionaire class is somehow prophetic or how is self-proclaimed altruism has purportedly endangered him on numerous occasions.

Price sent this series of IG posts to claim that his personal sacrifice is considerable and his life endangered. HED has issued a public records request to review the police report Price said he filed.

The seemingly benevolent, gracious Price is also the same man that has impelled almost two dozen persons to seek therapy due to his abuse, according to Hundred Eighty Degrees’ interviews with employees and private persons.

“I can't stand how much of my energy and mental strength I lost to him,” JDT said.

On her very first date with Price, she said she had to repeatedly ask him to stop pushing sex — a constantly confusing battle between being charmed or played.

Price is apparently adroit at making his casualties seem as if they are being unreasonable if not unwise. He is also fixated on what others might allege about him, JDT said.

“He asked me if he could trust me to always take his side if he was being questioned. I told him that depended on if I believed whether the question or statement was true. He then repeatedly told me he couldn't trust me.”

Like the others, JDT said that Price believed most people were not as intelligent as he. “He didn't understand why business and common sense decisions were so hard for everyone else.”

She said Price believed nobody was equal to him, similar to narcissistic personality disorder in which an individual attempts to eclipse extreme insecurity with an over-inflated sense of self-importance and demand for excessive admiration, even at the emotional or physical expense of others.

It is not possible to detail JDT’s alleged rape due to privacy and safety concerns. However, Hundred Eighty Degrees has reviewed the conditions under which such abuse allegedly occurred. Price appears to execute abuse in a serial manner, according to myriad document exchanges and interviews. His alleged sexual predation also seems to require a certain victim profile.

While self-reported incidents of sexual abuse nearly doubled from 2017-2018, reports of sexual abuse to police were nearly halved during that same period. The #MeToo movement, coupled with prosecutions of Harvey Weinstein, Jeffrey Epstein and other assailants, catalyzed the abused to reveal their abusers.

However, such survivors do not report to police because of deeply rooted doubts about the justice system.

Lt. Bill Hutchinson of the Palm Springs Police Department said that detectives continue to investigate Price and have spoken with multiple parties. JDT said she too will share her story with the police.

Hutchinson also said that the department encourages other victims or persons with relevant information to come forward so that the department may present the most complete case to the district attorney.

At this time, Hutchinson had no comment as to the likelihood that the DA would file criminal charges.
