The terrifying Tweeter in Chief

On February 28, 2016, Donald Trump posted this statement on Twitter... “It is better to live one day as a lion than 100 years as a sheep.”

How fitting that such words came from the tongue of Benito Mussolini. 

The founder of the fascist movement was a lifelong bully, architect of an end-to-end police state, self-anointed dictator who disabled opposing political parties and every last constitutional check and balance so he could rule with impunity, a relentless self-promoter, master of propaganda, a barbarian who favored torture, concentration camps, and poison gas, and also a terribly ignorant commander in chief.   Mussolini also stuck his chin out as if it were made of steel, domestically-produced steel.

Sound vaguely familiar?

On being questioned about invoking the Mussolini quote, Trump said, "What difference does it make if it was Mussolini or somebody else — it’s a very good quote.”
